On Tuesday, the OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei-led business from the UK debuted its second smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2. The Phone 2 has a larger battery and a Snapdragon CPU of a higher caliber than its predecessor.
The smartphone has a modified Glyph interface with outside applications like Uber and Zomato. It has two 50-megapixel sensors for its dual rear camera system. Nothing has guaranteed the newly released handset three years of Android OS upgrades and four security fixes every two months.

In India, the cost of the base 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration of the Nothing Phone 2 is Rs. 44,999. The phone’s price in the 12GB + 512GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations is Rs. 49,999 and Rs. 54,999, respectively. It will be sold via Flipkart and a few retail locations starting on July 21 in the color selections of Dark Gray and White.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Nothing Phone 2 comes pre-installed with Nothing OS 2.0, based on Android 13. The device has a 6.7-inch full–HD+ (1,080×2,412) LTPO OLED display with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. An adjustable refresh rate that may range between 1Hz and 120Hz, with SGS Low Blue Light and HDR10+ certifications.
The Nothing Phone 2 has an Adreno 730 GPU and a 4nm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm, with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It has a dual stereo speaker arrangement and three high-definition microphones.
Camera
A 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX890 sensor, an f/1.88 aperture, optical image stabilization (OIS), and electronic image stabilization (EIS), as well as a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 1/2.76-inch Samsung JN1 sensor, EIS, a 114-degree field of view, and an f/2.2 aperture, are both found on the rear of the Nothing Phone 2. According to the manufacturer, the latter also functions as a macro camera (4 cm).

The Nothing Phone 2 supports 4K at 60 frames per second, 1080p at 30 or 60 frames per second, and live HDR at 4K and 30 frames per second. You can also capture time-lapse recordings in 4K quality and slow-motion footage at 480 frames per second.
A 32-megapixel camera with a 1/2.74-inch Sony IMX615 sensor and an f/2.45 aperture is located on the front of the device for taking selfies and making video calls.
Interface
The new phone has the same Glyph Interface as the Nothing Phone 1, which consists of LED strips on the back of the smartphone. The interface’s slightly modified design now has 33 independently programmable zones.
The phone will feature 10 new ringtones and notification noises per business. You can also watch your delivery and pick-up progress using third-party applications like Uber and Zomato, with support for more apps coming shortly. The battery capacity of the Nothing Phone 2 is 4,700mAh, which is more than its predecessor. It is splash and dust resistant and has an IP54 rating. According to the manufacturer, the device’s 45W PPS wired charging capability (charging brick supplied separately) allows for a 55-minute charge time.
With 15W Qi wireless charging, the phone can also be charged without cords in 130 minutes. According to the manufacturer, the Nothing Phone 2 is also capable of 5W reverse wireless charging. It weighs 201.2g and is 162.1×76.4×8.6mm in size.
