The movie brought in an incredible Rs 30 crore on Monday, boosting its total domestic take to a staggering Rs 316.16 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. On Monday, Jawan had a respectable 17.38% occupancy in Hindi-speaking areas, 13.72% in Tamil-speaking areas, and 16.75% in Telugu-speaking areas.

Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan’s previous film, earned $1,055 crore worldwide throughout its theatrical run. For the weekend of September 7–10, Jawan is also the top film in domestic markets outside of North America, such as New Zealand, and second in regions such as Australia. The Shah Rukh Khan film ranked second overall for the weekend at the global box office.

The Hindi version of Jawan made a staggering Rs 65.50 crore on its first release day, while its dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions each made Rs 5 crore.

According to the producers, the high-octane action thriller had the highest opening day in Hindi movie history after earning Rs 129.6 crore on day one at the global box office.

Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, claims that “Jawan” has already surpassed the Rs 550-crore mark globally at the box office. While this was happening, Box Office Worldwide stated, “Film should also cross 575 cr worldwide gross, if not 590 crore.”

On September 7, 2023, the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of “Jawan” were shown in theaters worldwide. Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani also appear in the Atlee-directed movie. Deepika Padukone makes a lengthy cameo appearance.
